Conceived in the sun-drenched Tuscan hillside and born in 1990’s London, Zafferano was founded over 30 years ago.
We started small, from a North London kitchen table, but since those early days, we’ve flourished into one of London’s most respected creative catering companies.
The tongue-twister name means saffron in Italian.
Whilst we still love cooking the Italian food of our roots, we can equally be found creating Vietnamese street food, Japanese chirashi but more often than not, creating delicious, seasonal Modern British menus working with a wealth of spectacular seasonal produce from our incredible handpicked suppliers.
We are really proud of our reputation as the go-to creative caterer and are known for our sense of food theatre, with performance at the very heart of everything we do.
A Zafferano event is a show, for one night only, featuring inspiring food, dazzling set design and a talented cast and crew. The backdrops are our portfolio of iconic London venues.
We have won awards, recognition and an army of fans who share our quest for sensational food and memorable event performances.
We have worked with the wonderful Zafferano team for several years and they always bring so much creativity, imagination and care into producing our menus. Our guests are continuously blown away by how fantastic everything looks (and tastes!). We love working with the team and they always ensure that everything runs smoothly from start to finish, even with huge guest numbers in attendance.
